The Community Foundation for McHenry County is proud to share our 2025 Annual Report, reflecting a year of generosity, partnership, and lasting local impact.
In FY 2025, The Community Foundation managed $55.3 million in assets across 108 charitable funds, with 88% of assets permanently endowed to support McHenry County today and for generations to come. Through the generosity of donors and fundholders, the Foundation awarded $1.3 million through 168 grants and scholarships, investing in local nonprofits, students, programs, and community initiatives across the county.
As The Community Foundation celebrates 25 years, we remain deeply grateful for the donors, nonprofit partners, civic leaders, board members, and community members who make this work possible. Together, we are building a permanent resource for McHenry County rooted in local generosity and committed to lasting impact.
