The Community Foundation for McHenry County recently hosted a Women in Philanthropy gathering, Giving Your Way, an evening designed to help women reflect on their personal approach to giving and the impact they hope to make.
Presented in partnership with the Institute on Generosity and Stanford University, the program explored innovative approaches to philanthropy, including the book Giving 2.0 and conversations about the role of artificial intelligence in shaping how donors learn, connect, and give. The evening also featured inspiring stories from local women who have embraced philanthropy in meaningful ways, offering attendees real-life examples of generosity in action.
Women in Philanthropy gatherings are created for women who give, or who are curious about giving, and want to think more deeply about their impact. By bringing together women who invest in McHenry County, these gatherings encourage meaningful conversation, shared learning, and thoughtful action that strengthens our community.
A heartfelt thank you to all who were involved in this impactful evening!
