Located within the Community Foundation for McHenry County, the Philanthropy Center is a welcoming space designed to bring people together to learn, collaborate, and inspire generosity across our community.

Established in 2020 through the generosity of Greg and Dana Gliniecki, the Philanthropy Center features two versatile meeting rooms, an incubator space, and a modern kitchenette. This thoughtfully designed space is available at no cost to support nonprofit collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.

Since its opening, the Philanthropy Center has hosted hundreds of nonprofit meetings, welcomed thousands of community members, and served as the home of the Police Social Work Program. It is also the gathering place for Women in Philanthropy, a Community Foundation initiative that celebrates and engages women in giving, as well as a hub for nonprofit trainings and community education gatherings.

More than just a meeting space, the Philanthropy Center reflects a shared commitment to strengthening McHenry County by creating opportunities for connection, learning, and meaningful philanthropic impact.
