New Director of Program Services, JD Harshbarger

We are excited to introduce our new Director of Program Services, JD Harshbarger. JD's loves being plugged into his community and strives to help develop and enhance social capital wherever he lives. JD has undergrad degrees in both political science and business administration and began his career in political activism, nonprofit fundraising and special events. He has a very large and extended family consisting of three sets of parents, 7 sisters and 2 brothers and all of their many offspring.

JD currently lives in Elgin with his fiance Billy, and their dog, Kane, with the hope of relocating to McHenry County and starting a family. He recently completed his tenure at the Grand Victoria Foundation as a member of the Grassroots Grantmaking Design Team and is excited to bring this experience to our foundation. JD's true love of travel and food keeps him yearning for new experiences that revolve around the dinner table.
