Amy Hernon brings over 25 years of expertise in fundraising and nonprofit leadership to her role as Executive Director. A proud graduate of Lake Forest College with a Bachelor's in Arts and of Leadership Greater McHenry County, Amy has dedicated her career to fostering impactful philanthropy and driving community transformation.

Her extensive experience encompasses a broad range of skills, including nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, donor relations, campaign planning, and board development. Amy passionately believes in the transformative power of local philanthropy to positively impact lives and enhance the communities we live and work in.

Outside of her professional achievements, Amy is a proud mother of four, an active member of her church, and an avid adventurer who loves exploring the great outdoors and traveling West to visit family and friends. When not working, you may find Amy with a good cup of coffee and a book.
