The Women’s Fund with The Community Foundation for McHenry County is a lasting commitment to the advancement and well-being of women and girls in McHenry County. This fund aims to ensure that every woman and girl in our community has the opportunity to lead a healthy, safe, and fulfilling life—not just today, but for generations to come.
With collective giving efforts toward this endowed fund, we are investing in a future where women and girls are supported, uplifted, and empowered forever. Together, we can build a stronger, more equitable McHenry County that thrives because of the limitless potential of its women and girls.
How it Works
GIVE - Donate to the Women’s Fund to support women and girls in McHenry County, forever.
GROW - Your donation will join the Women’s Fund and be invested for growth.
GRANT – Each year, the Women’s Fund will award grants to organizations and initiatives which are supporting women and girls in McHenry County.

The goal is to raise $150,000 to start the Women’s Fund. The Community Foundation is excited to announce a $75,000 matching commitment.
