Join us at The Community Foundation on Monday, December 8, from 10:00–11:00 AM for a QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training facilitated by NAMI of McHenry County.
Suicide prevention begins with awareness, and with each of us. QPR is a nationally recognized, evidence-based training that empowers participants to recognize the warning signs of suicide, ask direct and compassionate questions, and connect someone to the help they need. These practical steps can save a life.
As our community enters the winter months, a time that can bring increased emotional and mental health challenges, this training offers vital tools to support friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues who may be struggling.
Space is limited, and registration is required. This event is open to the public. Please reserve your spot today to be part of this important community effort to prevent suicide and promote hope.
