The Community Foundation for McHenry County is proud to announce the awarding of grant funds to several important projects aimed at enriching the lives of residents throughout the McHenry County. These investments highlight The Community Foundation’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and resilient community.
The following projects have been selected to receive funding:
- St. Vincent De Paul of St. Mary’s Woodstock: $7,000 to support their vital programs that assist individuals and families in need, providing essential services and support within the community.
- Woodstock Fine Arts Association: $7,000 to enhance cultural opportunities through art programs that engage and inspire local residents, promoting creativity and artistic expression.
- Melissa O’Leary Memorial Splash Pad: $7,000 will help provide a safe and fun recreational space for families, fostering community connections and outdoor activity.
- Harvard Food Pantry: $3,000 to bolster their efforts in addressing food insecurity, ensuring that all residents have access to nutritious food options.
- Woodstock Area Community Ministry: $7,000 to help those in an emergency financial situation through its Direct Assistance Program.
