GIVE360 Program
Our GIVE360 program is a giving circle program that was initiated by The Community Foundation in 2015 as a way to make philanthropy easy for any resident of McHenry County as an introduction to philanthropy for less than $1 per day. Community members make a minimum donation of $360 annually to support the needs in our community utilizing the idea of collective giving.
The Community Foundation’s Unrestricted Fund
Our unrestricted Fund is what The Community Foundation uses to fund our annual grant cycles. Each year nearly 100 nonprofit agencies across McHenry County complete an application and review process to receive an annual competitive grant from The Community Foundation. Contributions to this fund offers donors the opportunity to support their community without identifying a specific program or interest. The Community Foundation’s Operational Fund
Our operational fund is the engine that keeps the Community Foundation going. By contributing to this fund, you are helping the Foundation grow faster and help us become a sustainable and permanent presence here in the community in order to help improve the quality of life for all of McHenry County. In addition to supporting the day to day operations of the Foundation, this fund also provides educational and training opportunities for professionals in the nonprofit community, as well as individual donors across the county.
