How One Couple is Conserving Land for McHenry County

Stu and Tammi Sava of Marengo have a deep passion for land conservation. In 2010, the couple decided to turn seven acres of their property into its native prairie and woodland landscape. The process was a gradual and extensive one - a true labor of love.

Regardless of what issue moves you to take action, we can help you find or create a resource for transforming your philanthropic dream into a meaningful reality that evolves with you, your family and your needs.

Our competitive grants seek to strengthen the local charitable organization sector and create a positive impact in major issues to improve the lives of our friends and neighbors in McHenry County.
